I’m sorry, but how is this week 21 already!? I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around just how dang fast time flies, but her we are, almost into June. Before you know it, meals will be grilled 7 days a week, sunny days will be spent floating in the pool, and we’ll be hot and sticky from the unbearable humidity and heat that plagues northwest Indiana year after year after year.
I CAN’T WAIT!!!!
But for now, let’s get on with this week’s meal plan, shall we?
May 20: crack chicken (from the freezer) mixed with pasta, topped with cheese, and baked, zucchini
May 21: wiener wraps using some Vienna Beef cheddar franks, potatoes (might make fries, might make hash browns – we’ll see), salad
May 22: turkey burgers (gonna use some Kick’n Chicken seasoning on these), corn, zucchini
May 23: pasta bake (from the freezer), cheesy bread sticks from Aldi, salad
May 24: simple creamy pasta, zucchini
May 25: dinner out for our anniversary with my mother-in-law
May 26: cheddar brats, BOXED macaroni and cheese (we’re classing it up over here!), zucchini
I don’t remember the last time we had mac and cheese that was not homemade, but I’m weirdly excited about it! Sometimes you just want the blue box, ya know?
