We made it to March!!! This month is a favorite of mine, because my birthday is in March (March 30th, to be exact). While I’m at that age where celebrating my birthday is not a big deal, this is a fun month because it’s a birthday-heavy month for family and close friends, and that means more opportunities to see everyone. Just last night we celebrated the birthday of three cousins at my cousin’s house, and it was so much fun.
So, this month also brings about a new school term, and eventually, spring (although it snowed today, so….). This month also brings about the typical season of busyness that happens when it gets warmer out. We have puppy classes every Saturday this month, I have to go try on dresses for my sister’s November wedding, there are birthdays and events and just the general household chores to do, but now that it’s getting warmer, those chores are starting to include things around the outside of the house as well (I’m looking at you, small deck).
With that being said, meals are going to be getting simpler and tastier (I loooooove grilling out in the warmer months; it’s my favorite!). Onto the meal plan!
Mar. 4: provolone meatballs (frozen, baked in some sauce and topped with provolone slices), asparagus & zucchini (just chopped and cooked together with some seasonings).
Mar. 5: spaghetti squash lasagna casserole, salad.
Mar. 6: bacon wrapped chicken bombs, asparagus.
Mar. 7: leftovers from Tuesday, green beans.
Mar. 8: creamy beef casserole, asparagus.
Mar. 9: Mississippi pot roast, creamy cauli-rice.
Mar. 10: leftover Mississippi pot roast stew.
And that’s it! Breakfasts will be the same as usual, except I picked up some breakfast sausage links to break things up, and lunch will be sandwiches, leftovers, or a mini charcuterie board.
