2019 Meal Plan: Week 7


I don’t know about you, but meal plan posts from bloggers that I follow are my favorite posts. I love to see what other families are eating. The variety is always interesting to me. Some will have theme weeks, some will have all three meals plans. Some only eat vegan meals. It’s so great to see what we’re all eating, and I love it!

As you know, we don’t really plan our breakfasts or lunches. This week is slightly different though. Our lunches will be Bacon, Bean, & Potato Soup every day of the week, Ham & Cheese Biscuits Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, leftovers from Tuesday’s dinner on Thursday, and Friday will be whatever we can find (sandwiches, crackers, or nothing other than soup).

I’ll have to see if this is really saving any money compared to what we normally do, which is make a new dish every night and have leftovers for lunch, but at least it’s something a little different.

And now, what we’re eating for dinner!

Feb. 11: BBQ Beef & Cabbage
Feb. 12: Monterey Chicken Skillet, big salad
Feb. 13: BBQ beef & cabbage (leftovers; we doubled the recipe on Monday)
Feb. 14: chorizo tacos (we have all the ingredients – chorizo in the freezer, corn shells in the fridge, fresh pico, cilantro, onion, and a block of Monterey Jack cheese we’ll shred).
Feb. 15: freezer meal, big salad
Feb. 16: Creamy Spinach & Sausage Pasta, big salad
Feb. 17: Ranch Chops, green beans, rice
