I realize that I’m posting this week’s meal plan the day of it starting, but in my defense, yesterday was the most boring Superbowl game ever, and I had to watch it at my parents’ house.
Also in my defense? Today we had a planned day of eating out thanks to a fundraiser for the rescue we adopted Molly from. So, we had Five Guys for dinner (bacon cheeseburger sans bun for me and the husband).
Sometimes a planned meal out is okay, even if you’re trying to save money, and especially if it helps to benefit something or someone.
It’s late, and I’m tired, so on to the plan!
Feb. 4: FIVE GUYS!
Feb. 5: Crockpot pork chops (need to use up some mushrooms), stick of butter rice (we’ll be using brown rice because we have a TON; recipe from Heavenly Homemakers), salad.
Feb. 6: slop (one day, I’ll do a post on this delicacy haha), salad.
Feb. 7: I have a work function, so Kalen will be preparing this – buffalo chicken jalapeno popper casserole (yes, again), salad.
Feb. 8: freezer meal (this time we’ll really eat one!), salad.
Feb. 9: Not Your Caveman’s Chili from Ruled.Me – we’ll be using ground turkey as the meat though, because we have a lot of it.
Feb. 10: spatchcocked chicken with an herb butter (from Nom Nom Paleo), roasted potatoes (we have some to use up), carrots (I’ll one day do a post on these too).
